After Las Vegas native Destiny Davis won first place in a local bikini contest, a friend took some pictures of her and sent them off to Playboy. It wasn’t long before they were calling offering her a test shoot. Destiny’s blend of Irish, Swedish, English and Syrian features wowed them, and her distinctive name sealed the deal. Soon she was Miss January 2005. “I don’t know what my mom was thinking when she named me,†Destiny says. “People ask, ‘Is that a stage name or what’, but it’s my real name believe it or not!â€

So 2006 Playmate of the Year Kara Monaco is a contestant on the CBS show “Big Brother”. Personally, we can’t stand to watch, but we did manage to make it through the introductions of the new cast just so we could check her out. Naturally, she’s looking great- just cute as a button. But it’s interesting to note that she refers to herself just as a model and doesn’t mention Playboy. If you’re into watching a bunch of random people locked in a house forced to screw each other over, be sure to catch it. Might be worth it just to see Kara in a bikini ;)

I try to keep things spicy.†So when this bartender is finished pouring shots at work, does she then call the shots in her relationships? “I’m in charge, but I make him think he is,†she says with a sly grin.

We just saw the movie “Bad Teacher” with Cameron Diaz (the unrated DVD version). Yes, she looks hot, especially in the car wash scene, but the real star is Playboy Playmate Christine Smith… or should we say Christine’s rack.

For a while the soft-spoken Tamara Witmer thought she might like a career in entertainment. Not so much anymore, she says with a chuckle. Playboy’s 2006 PMOY was the beautiful Kara Monaco. She comes from Florida and actually worked at Disney World where she played Cinderella, Snow White and The Little Mermaid. Kara was featured in Playboy as one of America’s sexiest bartenders and quickly got noticed by Hef. The fans loved Miss Monaco too. After Hef made her a Playmate, they voted her in as the Playmate of the Year!

Vanessa Hoelsher doesn’t feel self conscious, even when posing nude. Indeed, she is accustomed to being looked at. “I can’t go into a Wal-Mart without getting hit on,” she says. “I’ll look so bad- yoga pants, no makeup, straight from the gym- and guys will follow me around and try to talk to me.” Vanessa doesn’t think this is an altogether bad thing. “I’m definitely not a first-move kind of girl. Jillian Grace wanted to be a Playmate really bad. So her mother wrote a letter to Howard Stern. She told him her daughter’s dream was to be a Playboy Centerfold and asked for an evaluation. Soon the two traveled from Washington, Missouri to the Stern Show in New York City.
